Marriage Counseling

Marriage counseling is one of the fastest, surest ways to get help with your marriage. Licensed professionals will guide and advise you to improving your relationship.

“And they lived happily ever after.”

After the fairy tale wedding and ideal honeymoon, that first disagreement happens. And as the years go by, the disagreements continue, causing emotional separation, pain, lack of communication, and other issues.

With all the ups and downs, eventually you may wonder if this relationship is worth continuing.

The fairy tale seems to be moving towards an unhappy ending.

When relationships are strained, all areas of a couple’s life can be affected. These not so loving feelings can affect other relationships as well, including with parents, children, friends, and on the job.

As the loss of connection and unresolved conflicts continue, intimacy and previous loving feelings can go out the window. Marriage starts to turn from a potential fairy tale, to looking more and more like a nightmare full of anger, resentment, and regret.

Before you give up on your marriage, give us the opportunity to help you.

If you can relate to any of the above, don’t give up hope yet!

Because of our unique marriage building program and marriage saving tools, we can help most clients to turn their marriage around. Of course, it will take effort, but the results can feel so rewarding as the connection and romance returns. Communication gets easier and conflict can be easier to handle.

Before you know it, you could be in love with your spouse again!

Our aim is to help ease the pain.

Our sessions are convenient. You can do them wherever you are—home, office, or anywhere you have privacy to talk. And you can use almost any internet connected device such as a computer, mobile phone, or tablet.

The first step is to complete some assessments that can help create a baseline for your future progress and outline possible paths for marital growth.

You’ll meet either individually or together with a nonjudgmental impartial therapist who is focused on bringing the two of you back together and helping you build a loving marriage that lasts.

Your therapist will work together with you (and your spouse) over the first few sessions to discuss treatment options and formulate a treatment plan to work through whatever issues you may be facing. Then, if you agree to the plan, the work begins!

What if my spouse won’t attend or doesn’t even think they need to change?

Even though it may be optimal to do at least some sessions together, sometimes that isn’t possible. Perhaps it’s a scheduling problem or perhaps it’s an unwillingness problem.

Either way, while at some point both partners need to be engaged in working on the relationship, one partner acting alone can get the ball rolling. It happens all the time! So, if your spouse can’t or won’t attend, that’s okay! We’ll do all we can to help you make progress and hopefully, as your spouse sees you learning and evolving, they’ll be willing to come around.

It’s going to take work.

We’re not going to sugarcoat this: sometimes marriage counseling can be hard and take a lot of effort. Think about having a physical injury or sore that has to go through the healing process. It may hurt a lot as it heals but over time the pain gets less and less. Resolving marriage problems is similar.

But isn’t your relationship worth the effort? Wouldn’t it be great to reclaim those feelings you may have lost but still want so bad? Didn’t you agree to work through the good times and bad times in your lifetime commitment to love?

Not every marriage can (or perhaps should) be saved. But most can if spouses are willing to change. We are optimistic in this hope. We would love to help you get there. That is our passion!

Stop the pain.
